Ran for Weber State and also played the Bass for their Symphony Orchestra before somehow convincing the the most amazing woman in the world to marry me. Currently studying biology at the UofU (where the "Running Utes" dropped their men's track and cross country programs) and plan on being a research professor when I grow up.

Early morning run to Sugarhouse park with Jed. Averaged right about 7:30/mile for the whole run except the mile where we decided to try to run up a completely iced-over sledding hill... ha ha All in all it was a good run and a good start for my day full of studying. Lucky me, a "day off".

One more final exam (Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering) finished and only two more to go (Genetics and also Intro to Cellular Neurobiology). Tonight I ran to Popperton park. Alli was only running 4 miles for the day so I did the first two with her before she had to turn around. It was nice weather and not too icy so I picked up the pace quite a bit for the last 4 miles. Right after we finished, we headed to a neighborhood Christmas party where there was a lot of good food and we were able to meet a lot of people from the area that we wouldn't normally meet with our hermit-ish running/hiking/biking lifestyle.

This morning felt almost like summer... ok, not really but super warm compared to last week! There was a lot of snow and slush all over so it made for a little slower pace today but still nice and relaxed. I also have now finished my first final exam (comparative physiology) for the semester... 3 more to go, wish me luck!

AM: 6.07 W/ Jed on Wasatch

PM: 4.18 W/ Alli down to "Christmas Street"
